The Slot Lead Service Rep is to provide guests with an enjoyable gaming experience by offering exceptional service within the scope of slot operations, as well as other hotel casino functions. To work closely with fellow employees and management of all departments to present guests with the best possible service ensuring continued patronage. To facilitate slot operations by performing basic supervisory tasks within the scope of the Slot Service Representative duties.

Duties:

  • Must be able to maintain a valid license with the Gaming Control Board.
  • Maintain Peppermill’s high standard of quality and guest service.
  • Initiate, verify and pay slot jackpots of predetermined amounts.
  • Carry and maintain a floor bank to provide guests with change.
  • Maintain a cashier bank to provide guests with change and other SSRs with jackpot funds.
  • Always protect company funds.
  • Minor slot machine repair.
  • Assist guests with Peppermill Passport Program.
  • Perform slot operation duties while complying with departmental, company and Gaming policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Perform drops and fills for slot machines and voucher redemption machines.
  • Perform booth buys.
  • Resolve minor guest disputes.

Qualifications:

  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Good math skills
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Money handling experience preferred.
  • Special skills; overtly friendly and outgoing with a customer service orientation.
  • Mechanical aptitude, highly organized with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
