Job Opening :: Full Service Cashier
The Full Service Cashier is to provide the guests with effective, efficient, friendly service to ensure their return visit. Includes responsibilities for the new hire full service -cashier training.
Duties:
- Sincerely greets each guest.
- Makes eye contact with guest.
- Takes and completes orders from taking- to tendering of check.
- Completes pre, running, and post shift side work requirements.
- Ability to determine guest needs, provide information on seating status, take names and quote wait times accurately.
- Know all table numbers.
- Understanding of the tending functions of the POS system.
- Knowledge of all menu items, prices, coupons and specials.
- Takes orders and any special requests from guests, communicating the order to the kitchen.
- Ensure that all food orders are complete, including condiments.
- Assists in the service and delivery of all food in a timely manner, ladies first and from the left (food) and right (beverages) moving in a clockwise rotation around the table
- Basic food preparation and identification skills.
- Ensures line and service areas are stocked, or obtains needed items to accommodate guests’ needs including silverware, china, condiments and inspects side station set up
- Responsible for clearing, cleaning, and resetting of tables
- Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests and employees.
- Ability to use a calculator and balance a bank with a high level of accuracy.
- Genuinely thanks the Guest.
- Adheres to all internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service.
- Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of conduct.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one-year previous restaurant experience is preferred.
- Must be available to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
- Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 15 lbs to chest.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
