Job Opening :: Food Expeditor
The Food Expeditor will provide the guest with effective efficient food delivery.
Duties:
- Coordinates food running between Chef and servers.
- Runs food as needed.
- Ability to motivate staff and work under pressure.
- Ensures correctness of orders as well as food quality.
- Knows the script and hours/days of operation.
- Completes pre, running, and post shift side work requirements.
- Able to communicate clearly with the guests and teammates.
- Understands the ingredients and preparation of all menu items and can relate that information to the guest in a clear and concise manner.
- Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our Guests and Team members.
- Responsible for maintaining required levels of supplies in the dining room.
- Adheres to all G.E.T. policies.
- Adheres to appearance and uniform standards.
- Adheres to all internal controls, policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
- Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Knowledge of wines and premium brands of liquor preferred.
- Understanding of American service technique.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
