The Pool Lifeguard greets guests, provides prompt and courteous service, and performs all duties in adherence of the Peppermill policies and of the Peppermill’s Mission Statement. Safeguard the lives of the guests in the recreation areas of the hotel.

Duties:

• Provide coverage to pool area as scheduled.
• Keep pool area clean and free of debris.
• Clean pool deck as needed (IE pick up food trays, cups and any trash)
• Open and close towel hut per policy.
• Stock and fold pool towels and deliver dirty towels to laundry as needed.
• Assist guests with sales and bookings of cabanas.
• Stock, clean and provide appropriate customer service to cabanas.
• Assist guests with purchases, utilizing knowledge of price and selection of goods on hand.
• Must be able to handle all phases of the cash register
• Fold and stock pool towels as needed.
• Assist guests who use the pool lifts.
• Maintain all recreation facilities to cleanliness standards.
• Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service.
• Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of

Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Current CPR and Lifeguard Certifications.

• Ability to effectively communicate in English with guests and fellow team members; read write and speak.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance
