The Massage Therapist is responsible for the comfort of guests while performing massage and body treatments according to the standards, protocols and procedures of the Peppermill Resort and Spa Toscana.

Duties:

• Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
• Exposure to spa, cleaning chemicals and possible hazardous materials.

• Perform massage services according to Spa Toscana procedures, protocols, and standards.
• Analyze and consult on medical needs with guests prior to treatments according to spa guidelines. Be familiar with and able to recommend other spa services and products.
• Learn proper technical procedures for the position as specified by the spa manuals.
• Comply with room set-up and sanitation procedures, inventory and linen dispensation guidelines and safety measures. Assist in maintaining wet treatment rooms.
• Properly use empowerment within given guidelines to satisfy guest requests.
• Assist in escorting guests to room and to waiting area for other services.
• Conduct tours of spa as requested.
• Assist as needed in cleaning of other spa areas (e.g., pool, wet area, lounges, etc.).
• Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.

• Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service.
• Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of conduct.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Massage Therapy License – Nevada State Board of Massage Therapy
