The House Person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the hotel hallways and employee work areas up to established quality standards.

Duties:

  • Vacuum two complete hallways per day.
  • Remove trash from Room Attendant carts and other areas.
  • Remove linen from Room Attendant carts and put down linen chute.
  • Guest deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Follow all departmental and safety procedures.
  • Promote positive guest relations and attend to our guest’s needs.
  • Report any maintenance problems observed.
  • Obtain clean bedspreads, blankets, etc., as needed.
  • Turn in all Lost & Found items according to established procedures.
  • Move linen to stationary carts at the end of each shift.
  • Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service.
  • Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of conduct.

Qualifications:

  • Experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift.
  • Must be able to push/pull heavy House Person carts of linen and trash.
  • Basic English preferred.
