Job Opening :: House Person
The House Person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the hotel hallways and employee work areas up to established quality standards.
Duties:
- Vacuum two complete hallways per day.
- Remove trash from Room Attendant carts and other areas.
- Remove linen from Room Attendant carts and put down linen chute.
- Guest deliveries in a timely manner.
- Follow all departmental and safety procedures.
- Promote positive guest relations and attend to our guest’s needs.
- Report any maintenance problems observed.
- Obtain clean bedspreads, blankets, etc., as needed.
- Turn in all Lost & Found items according to established procedures.
- Move linen to stationary carts at the end of each shift.
- Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service.
- Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of conduct.
Qualifications:
- Experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift.
- Must be able to push/pull heavy House Person carts of linen and trash.
- Basic English preferred.
