Job Opening :: Bus Person
The Bus Person is responsible for providing guests with effective, efficient, friendly service to ensure their return visit.
Duties:
- Sincerely greets each Guest at his/her table.
- Makes eye contact with each table.
- Knows the script and hours/days of operation.
- Completes pre, running, and post shift side work requirements.
- Able to communicate clearly with the guests.
- Provides initial and ongoing beverage service for the guest.
- Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our Guests and employees.
- Adheres to all department requirements, including proper food safety protocols.
- Practices required sanitation procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining required levels of supplies in the dining room.
- Responsible for clearing, cleaning and resetting of tables.
- Genuinely thanks the Guest.
- Adheres to all internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service.
- Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of conduct.
Qualifications:
- Minimum six months bussing experience is preferred.
- Must be flexible to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
- Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 40 lbs to chest.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
