The Bus Person is responsible for providing guests with effective, efficient, friendly service to ensure their return visit.

Duties:

  • Sincerely greets each Guest at his/her table.
  • Makes eye contact with each table.
  • Knows the script and hours/days of operation.
  • Completes pre, running, and post shift side work requirements.
  • Able to communicate clearly with the guests.
  • Provides initial and ongoing beverage service for the guest.
  • Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our Guests and employees.
  • Adheres to all department requirements, including proper food safety protocols.
  • Practices required sanitation procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining required levels of supplies in the dining room.
  • Responsible for clearing, cleaning and resetting of tables.
  • Genuinely thanks the Guest.
  • Adheres to all internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service.
  • Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of conduct.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum six months bussing experience is preferred.
  • Must be flexible to work any day of the week and any shift.
  • Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift 40 lbs to chest.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English.
