This is an entry level position and starts at $21/hour. 

A Bilingual HR Representative (English/Spanish) is responsible for ensuring employees’ needs are met and front operations run smoothly. The HR Representative is also responsible for new hire paperwork, onboarding, indexing, submitting applications to departments for review, answering employee inquiries in person and via telephone and staying up to date on HR policies.

 

Duties:

·         Must be able to maintain a valid license with the Gaming Control Board

·         Prepares new hire packets, reviews required forms with the new hire and facilitates the onboarding process.

·         Aids applicants and current employees at the Peppermill and Western Village properties

·         Assist HR Management with all HR functions including applicant screening and employee communication.

·         Performs data entry on personnel changes and updates system for employee licenses, training, etc.

·         Answers telephones in a timely and courteous manner.

·        Maintains and distributes employee checks.

·        Performs various verification of employment forms.

·        Indexes paperwork daily

·       Maintains a clean and welcoming reception area for employees and applicants.

·       Prepares and submits daily and weekly reports.

·       Assists with general employee benefits and leave of absence inquiries as needed.

·       Must have excellent organization and time management skills.

 

            Qualifications:

·         High School diploma or equivalent required. 

·         Minimum of one (1) year previous HR experience preferred.

·         Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish preferred.

·         Must have a working knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel.

·         Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

·         Must be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities.

·         Must be able to obtain a license through the Gaming Control Board.

·         Must be at least 21 years of age.
