The House Person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the hotel hallways and employee work areas up to established quality standards.

 

Duties:

·      Vacuum two complete hallways per day.

·      Remove trash from Room Attendant carts and other areas.

·      Remove linen from Room Attendant carts and put down linen chute.

·      Guest deliveries in a timely manner.

·      Follow all departmental and safety procedures.

·      Promote positive guest relations and attend to our guest’s needs.

·      Report any maintenance problems observed.

·      Obtain clean bedspreads, blankets, etc., as needed.

·      Turn in all Lost & Found items according to established procedures.

·      Move linen to stationary carts at the end of each shift.

·      Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service.

·      Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of conduct.

 

Qualifications:

·            Experience preferred, but not required.

·            Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift.

·            Must be able to push/pull heavy House Person carts of linen and trash.

·            Basic English preferred.
