The Sewing Specialist will provide alterations, fittings and repairs for Team Members who require uniform apparel items. They will also greet and serve each customer (Team Member) in a professional way, on a consistent basis.

Duties:

• Complete alterations and repairs to uniform apparel items
• Assist with fittings for Team Members who require uniform apparel items
• Maintain department records accurately and consistently
• Inspects items for wear and defects, anticipates needed stock and supplies, and notifies Supervisor of shortages
• Assists in other areas of the Wardrobe department as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Education or equivalent
• Commercial sewing knowledge and skills required
• Must posses good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be organized, flexible, and able to handle multiple priorities in pressure situations
