The Locksmith is a highly skilled position. Responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing all locks and keys.

Duties:

• Report to work timely, in proper uniform and appearance and maintain standard throughout the assigned shift.
• Must be capable of maintaining the key and lock integrity of the entire property.
• Have full knowledge of the following skills:
• Work efficiently and safely with all electricity, hardware, and power tools.
• Generate keys and replacement locks and door closures.
• Record of key disbursement and parties responsible for keys.
• To maintain inventory and purchasing.
• Work on electrical components, signs, motors, gearboxes, breakers, and transformers.
• Maintain an orderly schedule of preventative maintenance in casinos, restaurants, kitchens, and hotel areas.
• Respond promptly to needs of company.
• Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure of shift supervisor.
• Attending and successfully completing all internal training courses and requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.
• 5 years in Locksmith trade, and 3 years casino operations.
• Knowledge of various locks and pinning techniques.
• Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines pressures.
• Must be able to maintain high levels of confidence.
